Concept

Regular updates serve to continuously optimise TrainBraC in terms of user-friendliness and software features. User feedback is of particular importance here. User feedback is bundled according to different topics and then prioritised with regard to the implementation date.

Significant software errors are rectified by an update provided at short notice.

Software maintenance can be ordered to acquire the authorisation for obtaining updates. This includes the option of transferring a licence to another user.

If no software maintenance is required, only support can be utilised. There is no entitlement to updates. Software maintenance can be ordered when purchasing the software. Subsequent ordering is not possible.

Standard

Standard software maintenance authorises to download updates. An update is provided due to

improvements to the software
bug fixes
functional enhancements
changes to standards (EN 14531).

The annual costs per licence depend on the number of licences purchased:

Advanced

An extended maintenance agreement is planned, for example in order to be able to carry out a brake calculation in accordance with ISO 20138. This extension is currently being implemented. Licence holders will be informed as soon as this option is available.
